Installing strakes on 22 Skiff

Installed 3 2x6 Strakes on bottom and secured will cut and grind tomorrow getting close to paint time.

Installed the bottom tonite all glued & screwed Next will be to put the strakes on will have to wait till morning

Installing Bottom

Well Picked up the 4 sheets of 3/4" plywood for the bottom and installed it on the bottom uncut to mark and will cut them out tomorrow will have more photos tomorrow also. Also picked up a sheet of 1/2" Plywood to start the constriction of the 1st Lady Bug/Tolman Alaskan Skiff being built for Cape Cod Bay The Plywood will become the Transom. But that may be a job for another blog some other time

22 Rails

Chine Logs

Here are the chine logs installed in the Lady Bug 22 ft Skiff. Still trying to come up with a model name for this boat maybe "Nahant 22" considering the 1st one I built went to that great town

Today I Glued the Stem to both Hullsides and to Transom also installed 3 full frames will try to post some photos of today
