Here we go again almost forgot I had this blog sorry to anyone who wanted to see I will attempt to post on a daily basis as I build the next 14 and 18 ft skiffs here I have glued up the Transoms 

Engine Install Mercruiser 260 Alpha 1

Pulled the boat outside to install the rebuilt 5.7L Mercruiser Alpha 1 always nice to have a clean gelcoated bilge to work in .

Ski Boat Floor

Now replacing the damaged piece of floor around Ski Locker putty fare and glass entire piece and overlap and make ready for gelcoat.

 

 Layer of 1.5 oz Mat and a layer of Biax should do the trick

 Fit and dry install Ski Locker hatch and remove to gelcoat deck.

 Gelcoated ready for Glue and some indoor/outdoor carpet from The Home Depot

 Time to get the motor in and checked out
